Akeem Hobson was born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia. He is an evangelist and an A Cappella musician. He graduated from William Fleming High School in 2003 and graduated at National College of Business and Technology (now American National University) with an Associates Degree in Information Technology. Searching for the truth to save his soul, he gladly followed the steps to salvation and studied the gospel of Jesus Christ and was baptized with the Holy Spirit at on October 14, 2012.

 

Akeem is a Baritone with an amazing 2 Octave and 2 notes range (E2-G4). Inspired by the way God says in His Word on how we are to give Him praise through music, Akeem instantly made and continues to make a cappella videos with all sounds, harmonies, and vocal done - ONLY by himself. Akeem's technique is by a popular phenomenon that is currently an art piece of a cappella music itself: Video collages. Depending on the song, Akeem will sing each part respectively and create the videos of himself covering the parts and placing them all on one screen.
